Bloggies 2005
So today I did my duty as a blogger and voted for the bloggies, just like last year, and the year before. I suppose it must be nice to be nominated, I just don’t agree with the nomination procedure. So why not have a general nomination process? I don’t know, something like a list of nominations per weblog author. It sure seems a lot more political correct (err, hate the term). With the current process only A-list bloggerscan choose which blogs reach the podium. It’s terribly unfair and does not diserve much respect. After all, a blog is not about the people who link to it, it’s about the content and the people who read it (some blogs have more interesting comments than posts). Actually I think the nominees for this year came a lot better, at least it looks a little displaced from the usual A-list of the previous years.

Damn, I wanted to vote but I got the ‘Bandwidth Limit Exceeded’ message. I’ll try to remember going there.
Anyway, from what I’ve seen in previous years there’s always the problem of there only being any nominations for the most viewed weblogs, which leaves a lot of not-so-viewed-but-with-great-content weblogs out of the thing.
