The Hacker
A couple of weeks ago some guy gave an interview on TV claiming he was a hacker. I laughed my ass off with it, I thought what a total loser he was.
I generally don’t pay much attention to security issues, but I keep my shit together. So this guy claims to be a hacker who defaces sites (but does not leave a marks though… uuuhhh) and steals credit cards from online shops that keep a credit card database… and, well he kind of forgot to give the news reporter a fake nickname… of course after the piece was shown everybody started digging him up and found everything about him: name, photos, address, birth date, birthplace.
What a dick, this guy is never going to find a job in a tech company, everybody knows who he is, everybody is laughing at his photo!
This is what is anoying about this country, a reporter wants to do a story about the local hacking scene and grabs the first twat that shows up, not doing actual research about the subject. Even worse, people actually believed in that crap, this is because people in Portugal are really stupid when it comes to tech stuff, they all have a last generation cellphone, but they can’t deal with freaking Windows XP, they are always afraid to “break” something.

the highest moment for me was when the TVI reporter said that he could have all the money in the world (”steals credit cards from online shops that keep a credit card database”) but he just doesn’t know what to do with it… Jesus!
