Dr. Watson is well know for making controversial statements like these (like when he advocated abortion for fetus who had strong genetical probability of being homossexuals) and he often uses this stunts to promote himself, he is apparently promoting a book. Sadly, it seems obvious that Mr. Watson may be genetically inclined to be a moron and no amount of scientifical knowledge will prevent him to be just that. No, you didn’t went to far.
